Directions from Kyoto City Hall Bus Stop
- When you get off the limousine bus, you will see a big street called Oike Street in front of you.
- Facing the big street, go to the right (west) for about 150m. When you reach the third intersection, cross Oike Street to the other side.
- Go straight for 280m into Tominokoji Street, and you will see PIECE HOSTEL SANJO on your left.

Directions from Karasuma Oike Station
Elevator Route【Duration 10mins.】
- Go through the North Gate when you get off the train, and go up to ground level using the elevator in exit No.3-2. You will see a big street called Oike Street on your left. Face Oike Street, and go right (east) along the street for about 500 meters until you reach Tominokoji Street (passing Kurumayacho Street, Higashinotoin Street, Ainomachi Street, Takakura Street, Sakaimachi Street, and Yanaginobanba Street).
- Turn right (south) at Tominokoji Street. Go straight for about 300 meters (passing Aneyakoji Street and Sanjo Street).
- After passing a honey store called "miel mie", keep walking for another 50 meters and you will see PIECE HOSTEL SANJO on your left.
Fastest Route【Duration 9mins.】
- Go up to ground level using exit no. 5, and make a U-turn to head south for about 20 meters.
- When you reach a convenience store called "MINI STOP" located on the corner of Sanjo Street, turn left (east) and walk straight for about 500 meters.
- When you reach a honey store called "miel mie" located on the corner of Tominokoji Street, turn right (south) and walk straight. After about 50 meters, you will see PIECE HOSTEL SANJO on your left.
Directions from Hankyu Railway Kawaramachi Station
Escalator Route【Duration 12mins.】
- If you have big luggage with you, the escalator is available between 6:45AM to 10:30PM. Go up to ground level using exit no. 12, and you will see a book store called "Junkudo" (ジュンク堂書店) across the street.
- Facing Junkudo, the street on the right side next to Junkudo is Tominokoji Street. Cross the street walk straight up along Tominokoji Street.
- Keep walking for about 400 meters. You will pass 3 intersections along the way, including an old elementary school.
- After passing the third intersection, you will see PIECE HOSTEL SANJO on your right after about 40 meters.
Fastest Route【Duration 10mins.】
- Go up to ground level using exit no. 5 that is in front of the station’s central exit. You should see an apparel store called "ZARA" across the street from you. Turn left (west) and walk straight for about 400 meters.
- The street between the apparel store called "United Colors of Benetton" and the bookstore called "Junkudo" will be Tominokoji Street. Turn right (north) at that street and walk straight.
- Keep walking for about 400 meters. You will pass 3 intersections along the way, including an old elementary school.
- After passing the third intersection, you will see PIECE HOSTEL SANJO on your right after about 40 meters.
