Communal Area
LIBRARY SPACE
The library area has numerous Japan guide books and architecture-related books that the guests can browse through.
We also have many unique art books published by FOIL Co. Ltd for sale on display.
PIECE LOUNGE
A great choice to socialize with travelers and locals is to get a drink at the PIECE LOUNGE.
The bar area is available for guests to use 24 hours. Local residents can join us while the cafe and bar is open (cafe: 8am to 10pm, bar: 5pm to midnight)! We offer freshly milled coffee from the espresso machine in our cafe, as well as various kinds of tea. Beer, sake, plum wine, whiskey, and tequila can be ordered at the bar.
Mac CORNER
We have 3 Mac computers for guests to use for free all day.
Please utilize them to plan out your itineraries, or to chat with your friends!
MAP
We have a HUGE map of Kyoto City near the reception area. It is made of whiteboard material, so it is always updated with the newest information. You can plan your itinerary here if you don't know where to go the following day with your travel mates!

Our kitchen area is equipped with a refrigerator, induction stove, toasters, microwaves, as well as all kinds of cookware and silverware. You are free to cook your food anytime with our numerous seasonings!
We have free tea and coffee available for guests 24 hours. We offer 3-4 different kinds of tea. If you prefer freshly milled coffee than our free instant coffee, you can order espressos and lattes in our PIECE LOUNGE.

TATAMI GARDEN
One of our smoking area and terrace on the first floor, a.k.a the TATAMI Garden.
We have a bench made of waterproof tatami-mats, where you can enjoy viewing our botanical garden or chat with your friends under the tree.
SORA TERRACE
One of our smoking area and terrace on the third floor, a.k.a the SORA Terrace. This terrace was built with the concept of enjoying the changes of the four seasons, with various plants and flowers blooming throughout the year.
This terrace also has the best view in our hostel, as it provides a fabulous view of Kyoto City. The terrace is located on the same level as the Shinkansen platforms, so you can get a very good view of the Shinkansens passing by.
Washing / Drying Machine
We have 3 washing machines and 3 drying machines in the first floor terrace. Guests are welcome to use them 24 hours. The washing machine is 200yen. The drying machine is 100yen/30minutes.
Bathrooms
- Shower Room
Showers are located on the first floor. We have 6 shower rooms for male, and 6 for female. All are available 24 hours. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap and bath towels are provided free of charge.
A dressing room with a rack is equipped in all shower rooms. You will not have to worry about getting your clothes wet while showering!
- Bathroom
We have a shower room with a bathtub for families and couples. It is available 24 hours. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap and bath towels are provided free of charge.
- Powder Room
We have a powder room suitable for your morning / evening routine on all floors. Hair driers and hand soap are provided for your convenience.
- Toilets
Toilets on all floors are western-style, and are equipped with high-end wireless toilet control panels.
- Barrier-free Toilets
We also have a restroom for the physically challenged on the first floor.
