Wishing upon a star
July 7th is a day we call Tanabata, where we celebrate by hanging our wishes on bamboo.
Tanabata is based on a story of Prince Hikiboshi and Princess Orihime, whom were deeply in love with each other and got lazy to do their work. So the king got mad and he only allowed them to meet once a year on July 7th.
It is said that a wish will come true on this day.
One of our guests made the cutest wish for us that "all staff in Piece Hostel could stay healthy"!
We hope all of your wishes come true!!!
